Sign up for an AWS account !!

Many of my friends asked me how do I get started with AWS. I often told them the quickest way to learn is to “get your hands dirty”. I often point them to go to AWS to sign up for an AWS account.

It will ask you to enter your information and also most importantly to you ! Your credit card info. But don’t worry, in theory you DO NOT have to pay as I will explain why.

AWS Free Tier

AWS offers more than 60 products for you to try for free !!! And they are split into 3 different types:

• Always free (Free Tier do not expire and available to all AWS customers)
• 12 months free
• Trials (Short-term free trial offers start from the date that you activiate a particular service)
